The Perfect Breadsticks

Who doesn't love breadsticks. This recipe is perfect for anyone that doesn't mind spending 40 minutes on something they will enjoy. This recipe makes the most perfect, soft and fluffy breadsticks you'll ever eat.


How To Make

  1. Add the sugar, water, and yeast to a mixing bowl and let it sit for 10 minutes.

  2. Add an additional 1 cup of water to the mixture once it has sat there for the ten minutes.

  3. Add the oil.

  4. Gradually start adding the flour. Keep mixing util there are no visible clumps. It should be the perfect dough consistency.

  5. Put some flour on your surface so that the dough doesn't stick.

  6. Using a rolling pin, roll out your dough so it becomes a rectangle.

  7. Place that dough on a greased rectangular dish.

  8. Using a knife, make long lines so it becomes separate sticks.

  9. Spread some melted butter on top.

  10. Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

  11. Once out of the oven spread some more melted butter on top.

  12. Add on your cheese garlic topping. Make sure you do this when the breadsticks are still hot so that the cheese can melt.

The breadsticks smell absolutely wonderful. These are buttery, soft, and fluffy which makes them even better. The topping on top gives them the perfect flavor of garlic and cheese combined. Definitely give it a try.


Extra Information:

  • You can change up the toping to your liking

  • Use a wider dish so that the breadsticks can cook fully from the inside.

  • You can change the cheese to your liking.
